Most Delicious Kidney & Black Bean Chilli | Vegan Dinner Recipes

Whether you’re trying out Veganuary, want to eat more plants or on the search for a delicious batch cook meal, we’ve got you covered with this delicious bean chilli. Super flavoursome, incredibly easy to put together and packed with protein and plant goodness.

Here are the ingredients that you’ll need:

2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
2 red onions, chopped
6 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp sweet smoked paprika
6 celery sticks, finely chopped
5 large carrots, finely chopped
1 red sweet pepper, chopped
1 yellow sweet pepper, chopped
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup red wine (optional)
400g chopped tomatoes
800g cooked black beans (or 2 cans)
800g cooked red kidney beans (or 2 cans)
2 cups vegetable broth
1 bay leaf
coriander to garnish

Serve with rice or pasta. The perfect lunch or weeknight dinner. This recipe gets better after being left for a day or so in the fridge when the flavours settle into to each other. This recipe is a hit with the whole family.
